STRONG (Standing To Represent Our Next Generation) is an organization dedicated to creating a voice
for people under the age of 30 within the political landscape of American politics. We seek to increase the participation of youth in politics as well as represent their issues.

This organization will represent the future of our country. So many issues that are discussed today directly impact people under the age of 30 more than any other social group. 

These issues include the growing national debt that will have to be paid down by our generation and future generations; the possible death of Social Security; the war in Iraq/war on terror, which is being fought mostly by brave young people in our armed forces; Global Warming, which will affect generations to come; the rising costs of college tuition and the political games being played with public education. Most of these issues will have little or no affect on the politicians discussing the issues in our current political sphere but will have major affects on young people. It is important that these young people have a voice in the world of politics. Currently young Americans are the only social group of people that are NOT represented in policy making decisions.  This is the gap that STRONG aims to fulfill.
